In Opposing Force a lot of things are in your face, and there's more of a focus on combat, so stuff like buzzing, is a lot less pronounced. Also possible that when you launch op4 the game thinks u launched hl so yeah reinstall op4. the liblist.gam file tells the game which map to use at the start and maybe it got corrupt. Unused H.E.V features (Such as identifying weapon type and more) There is another area in Half-Life: Opposing Force that isnt Black Mesa or Xen. Opposing Force does feel like Half-Life mixed with Aliens and especially Full Metal Jacket. I would delete the op4 folder and redownload it.Restores content from retail, cut & unused content.
